Gyali Island

On Saturday from 13:00-17:00  an optional private boat trip to Gyali island will be arranged. Make sure to RSVP.

The cost is 25euros per person.

Chochlaki beach is the perfect spot for an easy swim & chill. It is located below the monastery of Panagia Spiliani in Mandraki.

Pachia Ammos is a beautiful, black sandy beach. The volcano rocks make the sea look dark but the waters are crystal clear and wild. There is a path leading to Pachia, which is ~ a 10min walk.

Spiliani Monastery & The Castle

Find some time to visit Spiliani Monastery and the Castle of Nisyros. The views are breathtaking. If you're up for a small road trip, drive from the castle to Emporios via the back side of the island—it's worth it!

This is a must! On Saturday afternoon, right before sunset, guided tours in Greek and English will be arranged. Make sure to RSVP.

Important info

Emporios and Nikia have no supermarkets or pharmacies. For any supplies you might need we recommend to visit the mini-market at Mandraki.

It would be best if you avoid the one in Pali.

The pharmacy is also in Mandraki. Here you may find the exact location.

Your only option to buy cigarretes is in Mandraki.

The island has only one gas station here, which has a 24/7 self service station.
